I like the LED look on cars and wanted to get a similar look on my SRT's tail lights. Anyone have 3157 red led's in their taillights??? I remember buying a set for my 95 civic. I had the red/clear tailights and the stock white bulbs seemed brighter. Any suggetions? Also if installed, will it cause any problems such as making my signals go ballistic? Thanks folks.
they will work, but i foresee that your light will blink twice as fast. for those 12 led bulb lights, you may need to get a 6 ohm resistor to make it blink like normal.
but thats only what i read on here...never tried it personally.
I installed leds today. You will need the resistors to stop the signals from blinking like mad. They're not as bright as the stock bulbs during the day, but they look nice at night.
They are brighter than the stock bulbs period. But only from about 30+ feet away. Past that they are bright as shit. Leaves the nice little purple spots on your eyes like you just looked at the head lights. They do blink like their on crack, but go to www.ledtronics.com and check out their little inline resistor that they sell. I don't remember how much it went for, but I do remember that they sell it as well as all things LED. I wanna get sooom much shit from there.

during the day you cant see them well. at night it looks like your brakes are on THEN you hit the pedal and they are VERY clean and bright. and yes if you dont change the resistance they blink super fast.
