Default Interior Lighting

I got a red boost guage, and I'm trying to go with red lighting theme. Are the numbers and stuff on the stock dash green or is it the light? How could I go about making it red.

Its the backing thats green. Not the light. Rumor has it that the backing can be removed with finger nail polish remover and a qtip. Dunno though.

byvampdesign sells a kit and for it to be bright you have to remove the green film on the back. Have not done it yet but as soon as i return home from Iraq I will be doing it. there is a guy that should be gettin his very shortly and is gonna post pics.

I removed the film from my last car with sand paper. I read aboutnail polish and it does seem like it would be a bit easier and safer. I might try it as well this time.

You can use either fine grit sandpaper, or fingernail polish REMOVER. Don't use fingernail polish (I'm hoping that was a typo on your part) it just won't work for too many reasons to list.

it is easy to get them out...just got to be real delicate when it comes to taking the pins off and resetting them. It is best to fill your tank up to reset the fuel at full and place the mph at 0...wrie down what your rpms r at idle and your temp once the car has heated up and reset them with the vehicle on.
