Question I Need HELP getting more light please!!!

I traded in my jeep wrangler for my srt4 last year and i havent been able to see since. the brights on my car are useless... light scatters everywhere. on the jeep i had aftermarket housings with H1 silverstars along with 2 hella driving lights that came on when i hit the brights. it was like daylight over a quarter mile. i would like to get as close to that as possible without having huge 6" lights drilled to my hood. anything less conspicuous is game

i was thinking about halos or the depo projectors but im not as concerned about the projector light output as other are because im always on dark country roads speeding at night so i will have the high beams on all the time unless im passing someone.

i was also looking at putting driving lights in the fogs to come on with the highs or maybe putting driving lights behind my grill somewhere but i dont want to be able to see them. or maybe a removable frame to mount a couple hellas to on my trips at night

any ideas are welcome i want to have something done in the next few weeks

HID retrofit you will never drive any other way again once you do it. its not cheap but not expensive if you do it your self. its a great upgrade and if done right you will enjoy night driving alot more

You can retrofit with a bi-xenon projector that has both high and low

Low-beam only:

I put HID kit on my car. I don't have high beams, but the lows are so bright that you don't need highs, unless your really picky. I can get a really good deal on Riken Sport HID kit if your interested.

To do a retro you can use those halo headlights and put a better projector in or you can use a stock headlight and put a Bi-Xenon(high&low beam together) projector in it. Either way you will want to use a HID lighting system to get the best light output. Here is a retrofit that i did in a stock headlight. Just search threw this lighting section and you should get a good idea of what is involved.

Best retro for the halos from reading in this section is the MDX projector. Mine are retrofitted black housings so they didn't come with a projector to begin with. Here are mine:

Oh, it's totally expensive either way. I spent well over 700 making mine.

^^^ Yep those are crossfire shrouds that are slightly modified to fit the E-55 projector i have in there. They are mounded on the stock reflector too. Crystal's are similar to mine but with a few more goodies

thanks for the info everyone! I like your car lilsparkplug good job on the LEDs in there i was admiring them on another thread. ill order the halos so i at least have more than one set and go from there. idk anything about HIDs so ill be learning alot and doing some trial and error work.

anyone heard about the osram/sylvania nightbreaker bulbs? theyre supposed to be better than silverstar. im planning on ordering them to put in the high beams since thats about all ill use. hopefully the halo high beams have a better pattern than stock... it couldnt be worse tho

My projector is mounted to the stock reflector yes. Thanks for the compliments . The halo headlights have a very poor output. This is not my car, just someone else's picture I stole for purposes of showing the light output of the halo projectors:
