i have a set of morettes...questions regarding retro fit
im picking up a set of morettes tomorrow, some of the lenses are broken, so i was thinking of maybe just doing a retro fit to them. has anyone done this? or know someone who would be interested in doing them for me and ill pay for labor/parts? let me know just weighing my options on what i can do w/ them
If you broke the lenses, and can't purchase new ones I'm not sure how you could even attempt to retro them. You need a lens of some sort to protect the projector. Not that I don't think it's possible, I just don't know how you'd be able to pull it off.

yeah it does seem semi hard. i was just looking into some possibilities. thanks for the input!
where the hell did you find morettes? i'd like to try a retro on then , it would be fun.
... what are morrettes? Im guessing theyre a kind of projector or shroud or something? Please keep the flaming to a minimul as I am just getting into the whole lighting world, thanks!
You cant do a retro, unless the projector is protected. You can make a new lens with acrylic, but its extremely difficult. Sell the morettes, and a retro a set of depos.
i love the look of the morettes. ill hang on to them and hopefully get ahold of a new set of lenses for them. they are useable but one of the lesnes is pretty battered up. hopefully i can get a hold of a new lense
i love the look of them. going to be getting a cbd vented hood soon, so that should make them look even better! gonna spend some time on the detail of the car and making it look good.
