Default I have been stumped as of tonight

Ok here is the scenario... I was driving and someone wanted to get over so I go to flick my high beams so they know it safe to change lanes and my headlights go out... ok no problem maybe the fuse is old and it was just it's time... the fuse that blew was number 16 in the fuse box inside the car. Ok so I replace the 25 amp fuse with another 25 amp fuse turn on headlights hit the high beams and pop there go's another fuse. Does anyone have any ideas as to why this might be happening.

Since its only popping on high beams I'd check your wiring to make sure its not wedged on something and exposing bare wires to metal, particlarly the red high beam wire in the harness. Somewhere you have a short. If all wiring checks out fine then perhaps your bulbs are bad and have have somehow caused a direct short inside the glass. Doubtful but probable.

Is there ANYTHING you've done to the car recently?

Just upgraded to big turbo. Other than that nothing electrical has been installed.

This is what im going to try when I get home. Gonna pull both headlight bulbs and try then try turning on high beams if the fuse still pops then that will lead me to believe that its a possible wire problem... if it doesn't then I will change the bulbs.
