Default i was follwoing the how to retro fit...got stuck...

umm..i know this is old and all...but i have a quick question...i was reading the how to pdf file and there is some thing i dont understand.....on page 19 there is a picture showing how the relay is run....the wire connected to the 85 number pin goes to the low beam wire for the stock harness....well my question is which harness or which purple wire do we use....the left or right....or both bcuz it is on each harness??? plz help im stuck here..

85 goes to low beam wire, to acquire high beam you need a diode connected from low beam wire to the high beam wire, 86 goes to ground, 87 goes to positive of each ballast, 30 goes to the battery (+) terminal shouldnt be that hard, real easy.

here, check this out Relay. If you have a better idea of how the relay works then maybe it'll make a bit more sense. Terminals 85 and 86 are ends of a coil that activate the relay like the switch. As long as the wire you grab tests correctly for low beams then it will activate said switch correctly, either side is fine.
