Materials: Red Metalcast by duplicolor (red ornament cap color) spray paint and a butter knife, masking tape, oven?? Ratchet and 1/2 socket.
1. First take off the tail lights off. Pop the trunk, remove that cover area behind your tails. There are 3 1/2 bolts. Just use a ratchet. Most easiest. Then Remove the 3 bolts and light bulbs.
2. Once you do that take your tails give them a clean with a wet paper towel then dry them with a dry paper towel.
3. Now what you wanna do is preheat your oven to 250 degrees. Then once heated, lay a wet towel (fabric kitchen towel not a paper towel!!!) on the rack. Then place your tails for 5min and only 5 min.
4. After 5 min, you get a butter knife, and pry them apart at the TABS of the tails, then you could pry all around. Be sure not to rush or you could crack them. Just take your time prying them apart all around. There will be some rubber gunk sealant. So it might be tricky, but just cut them apart with a blade. Remember its a must to be careful because you can crack your tails. Just be patient and work it out.

5. Then once apart, mask with masking tape the parts of the INNER taillight lense that you dont want to paint. So your just gonna leave the white area open to paint. They should look like this when apart.
6. Then grab your Red Metalcast and spray 4-5 heavy coats but not too much so it doesn't drip or run. Have a 5 min window for each coat. Once dry, don't touch I repeat dont touch, cuz you will never know. So wait for about 25 min to dry. Then reattach the taillight lense to the housing once again but no need to heat. Just be careful not to rush things. You might need some muscle to push to get the tabs in right. Once in give them a last good push just to make sure they sit correctly. Then reverse the uninstall steps.
Then your finished
Also to keep in mind spray like 6-8in away from the tail light.
NITESHADE:
Materials: 1000grit sand paper, niteshade can, shit load of patience and a can of clear. I prefer the MINWAX "fast-drying Polyurethane clear gloss" paint. (will post pics of can soon.)
Step
1. First again, take off your tails if you have not already. Make sure you prep them by having the 1000grit sand paper and soap/water mix.
2. What you want to do with the sand paper and water/soap mix is wet sand the tails. Just wet sand enough so that your tails look dull and are smooth as hell. Once done wipe with a wet then damp paper towel.
3. I repeat dont touch the face of the lense. Just let it dry for 5 min for all water to dry. While waiting, shake the niteshade can.
4. After that, take the taillights by the black plastic piece and set it on something. Start spraying from 6-8inch away. Put as many coats as you you would like. The more coats you put the darker. Just keep in mind that after each coat, make sure you let it dry for a good 5-7 min. ALSO after that, wet sand it again until its pretty smooth. You wanna do this to take out the crappy waves out as much as possible. Then wipe it down with a wet then dry paper towel. Wait for 3 min after this so it completely drys. Then your off to the next coat, then repeat the process. DONT TOUCH THE LENSE GODDAMNIT.
5. After your done with your last coat. Let it sit for atleast a good hour because sometimes rattle cans still get sticky even when you think its dry. Once you think your set, sand again with the 1000 grit sand paper until smooth again but not too hard so you dont take the niteshade off. Doing this will prep your tails for clear.
6. Once done, take the clear (make sure you shaked it well) and spray about 6-8 in away. Make 1 heavy coat but just enough so it doesnt run or drip. Then lay the tails on its back, so the black housing is on the ground and the lens is facing up. Wait for atleast 24hours. DO NOT TOUCH THE LENSE. You will leave finger marks and you will have to start over with the clear again. TRUST ME I HAVE DONE THIS about 10x and it pissed me off.
OK I will get pics of the clear paint I used. Also if anything is confusing let me know, my english aint that great but I tried. Thanks again
p.s I also wanna thank BTR for his thread that had the pics. The pics were from the
