I'd love to see a board that uses either Super Flux or SMT LED's instead of those wussie 3mm LED's.

Anyone know of a place that makes custome boards?

I'm looking into a set of these as well; best looking set of tails I've seen so far.

Where in the hell I can find the led board? I've been looking on the net and haven't found it yet.

This sticky is soooo useless at this point. Without the parts being available there's no point to this thread.

we could do it this way

using red/orange Lumileds leds (hpwt-dh00 bin j16,j25,j22 and h34)
3 rows of leds (180 leds per side. not including backup leds)

LED taillights pictures by sy272004 - Photobucket

this might help too
LED series parallel array wizard

I was quoted $75 labor from a guy on hidplanet. I think his name kzooshoo. He said genuine superflux leds would cost about $75 in parts, so youre looking at $150 plus shipping. I have an idea with stock tails, so I might start learning how to work with leds and do it myself.

I just wanna know how srtgavin got his tails black just around the edges and not on the actual light area.... is it sprayed from the outside and just taped off in the middle or is it taken apart and painted black from the inside or what
