wow, here i thought someone was tryin their own thing......then here i realise whos doing it...and what they're using...haha

good job man! more than i did, thats for sure, but mad props none the less! i just used JB Weld to hold mine in place

i'm actually going to release these again, this time i'm thinkin of 5mm wide angle red led's, instead of the 3mm narrow angle led's... Sure they wont be as bright but the led's have a 120degree viewing angle, so youll CLEARLY see the tails from any angle.

I'll probably do both, let people choose, but so far i've compared the 5mm wide and 3mm narrow side by side, and so far, i'm really liking the way the 5mm looks compared to the 3mm

scrub: ill let you know soon as i have more ready to ship. my factories are both closed till the end of the money for their spring festival.....

You mean resistors to control fast flash?

Nice write-up! I'm curious though why no one sands down the fluted lens ribs so you have a clear lens not difracting any of the LED.

nice......my second stickie, thanks hak

as far as sanding the lens.......trying to polish up the lens after sanding it would not be easy, that and we both know how thin that lens is in the valley's between the fluting

Yeah, wouldn't be easy but the end result would be sweet! Of course you'd have to make a shroud or cover of some sort so the LED board wouldn't be visible since youd now have a clear lens but that would be the least of the work. Sanding/polsihing would be the brunt of the storm ....no... hurricane. .

So its 35.00 per board for the LED taillights? Also can you make somthing really, really bright? I have pretty dark tinted tails and would love to add LEDS to make them more visible (safer) at night. PM me if so price ect.

Thanks,
Andrew
