Thumbs up HOW-TO = HID TL projector retrofit

Thanks to FYX for keeping the pics I had a long time ago and creating a PDF from them.

This should be noted that this was before I did my use of the stock adjust so this will make you have to adjust the lights from the rear of the housing (just like the aftermarket projector headlights for the Neon). This also was done when I used to hand form the shrouds rather than use the preformed shape trash liners. Just wanted tro throw that out there.

That being said, here is the pdf how-to (right click/save as)http://www.haknslash.com/pictures/HI..._TL_HOW_TO.pdf

It's pretty straight forward. What part are you getting confused at?

You are very limited in what projectors you can use with still using the stock reflector to bolt to. Mainly very small single xenon (low beam only) HID projectors. This would be like a Valeo D2S/H7 or a Bosch E46. You would then mount them to the rear of the reflector like you can kind of see in this pic I did of manoaboys' E46 stock-style retro using a 3" E46 bezel for a stock appearance....

This is what it looks like when finished....

Is there a "how to" use stock adjust bolt somewhere in lightning modification section ?
If no, can you say how we can do it ?

If my mind is right, you said that the "preformed shape trash liners" can be bought at wal-mart.
Last week-end, i didn't found any of those "oval trash" at wal-mart. I'll try to keep searching. But if i can't find anything, someone will be willing to buy me some and ship them to me ... ? (hak?)
Or, if you can guarantee me that i can find those at "U.S. wal-mart", i'll maybe take a little ride at Plattsburg, about 1h30 from my house, not too bad.

Thanks.
JF

Guys, if you read the very last thing on the pdf you'll see what FYX mentioned for using the stock adjuster. That is pretty much the same way I did mine. Rather than mount to the rear of the housing, you are going to mount to the stock reflector areas. Like he mentioned, it takes some tinckering and constant back and forth pre-adjustments. Just takes patience
