Default How do i reset my cluster gauges?

Well..if someone could read the manual for me and post this info up it'd really help.

My battery went insane and had enough power to throw my gauges to the side for a gauge check and they buried themselves..even with my new battery installed, they're not resetting.

I dont have a manual, but i think if you hold down the trip meter reset button for a couple seconds, then turn the key to the on position, that might reset it. well on mine, it sweeps the gauges, i think thats resetting them.
