I went with red actually went with speedhut glo gauges in red casue everyones doing the color bulb thing more blue than red so I would do the red even if its a little harder than the blue.
Just finished up replacing all my bulbs!!! interior wise and the license plate light. LOVE the blue versus the green i was getting with regular bulbs!!! hahaha and i replaced my dome lights with a blue festoon bulb just for the hell of it! haha i love it. I know its kinda stupid. THANKS SPARKY!!! YOU ARE AWESOME!!!
You're welcome Mandi glad to help
And yes Wiggz is the man to go to for anyone who wants a color other than blue/green/light blue
So I don't need to even pull the old ones out of the grey sockets because the leds just get soldered right in the holes where the sockets were. Does that make any sense or am I very confused.
Lil spark plug, i couldn't help but notice that you have a shorty antenna and HIDs. I was wondering if maybe you had the same problem that I have or if you don't maybe you know a way to fix it. So basically what happens is every time I turn on my HIDs at night time my radio stereo AM and FM goes completely out and all I hear is static. Ounce I turn off the hids the radio signal comes back. Before I had the hids and only had the shorty antenna I never had this problem. Have you experienced this before or possibly know what could be happening? I tried almost everything with no luck. You seem to know alot about lighting and anything that has to do with electrical. Any help is appreciated. Thanks & not trying to sound like a kiss ass but man your car is SEXY!
With the lights in the 05's you need to get the old bulbs out of the sockets. What I've heard/seen most people do is crush the bulb with a pair of pliers and wrench the rest out of the socket. Its honestly a pain in the ass. Better solution is go to the junkyard and get a regular Neon cluster from 04 and below. Rob the sockets out of it there on the spot, put them in your pocket and remember the golden rule of the junkyard.... If a part is small enough to fit in your pocket or toolbox.... its free.
