Default Hole through headlight?

Thinking of buying a driver side headlight.Kinda retro fitting the turn signal bulb area into a straight through hole, leading it into engine bay or air intake area. Figuring that it will help with cooling by A LOT maybe for a lil performance gain to?

What you guys think?

Yay or nay?

Waste of my time or go for it?

There was someone on here that made an entire head light into that (or at least started to). Don't remember who it was though

turbojon, it wasn't for cooling though, more of a straight shot of air.

I would see it as a lot of work, for hardly any gain. The hole would be so small that you wouldn't receive much throughput air. You could just use the stock vents from the hood and dremel them out so that they are wider. That would achieve the same effect.

Go for it, although I'd do the whole lamp, and not just the turn signal area.

personally, i would just make a custom extension to the intake pipe, and when track time comes take the headlight out completely and put the new pipe on there

I am probably gonna start it then. On one condition, wiggy; are you still making me the black housing headlights?
