Default HID's and fog light mod?

I am getting some HID's soon and am just curious cause I have the foglight mod where I just swapped the wires and am wondering if having HID's and that mod can cause any issues?

I have no idea what the actual wires you guys swap go to. That is why I don't do mods like that. Personally, I'd swap them back and then a relay fog mod but that's just me

I concur with Haknslash concerning putting the wires back when changing from your regular headlight bulbs to HID's. I believe the fuses they are going to are identical.

However I am not familiar with the inherent properties of the HID's.
Do they have a initial high inrush current on power on?
Do they run off of ballasts similar to flourescent bulbs?

I believe there is a post on here concerning this mod and HID's.

Remember, when in doubt, err on the side of caution.
