Default HID selection help

I've gone through multiple HID kits and always have problems whether its bulbs or ballasts. I need to get something brighter than stock because I drive where deer and boar pass through a 70mph zone. If I get another HID kit I wanna get a hi/lo beam for anyone who challenges me with their hi beams and I wanna put the ballasts in the cab to keep from getting wet. The last kit the relays kept getting wet. Sorry for the long thread. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I've had great luck with my VVME kits, I have them for the headlights and foglights in my SRT, and Bi-xenon kits in my Neon's headlights and my boyfriend's Durango's headlights.

ddmtuning.com has some good kits for good prices. Lifetime warranty as well.

If you want both low and high HID, then this is what Im going to do, is get the ebay projector lights and just get 2 hid kits and hook them up that way, lows will be 8000K, and highs 10000K. Right now I have 8000K on both head and fog/drive lights, you dont really need the highs. But for your situation I would think that HID and projectors would be better for you, you'll see alot better. Just my .02

DDM Tuning has new hid kit made by Raptor or called raptor not sure but the ballast is about 2"x2" maybe 1/4" thick for $39.99 I ordered the kit a week ago it came out to $51.99 with shipping via ups to TX the kit works great on a cold start take about 5-6 sec to fully brighten and about .5 sec to fully brighten after eating dinner. dont have pics on the pc yet but will make a thread all about them when i get home tonight. I would recommend the 5000k bulbs or lower for night driving cause i think 6000k on a 35w ballast is too blue the ballast did get hot the first day i had them in but this morning i had them on for about an hour and the ballast are hand holding tolerable id say 70-80 celcius. but they arent bi xenon so for stock headlights u may not pass inspection but there a hella lot brighter than my other bulbs even with the brights on you can see the light spread during mid day sunlight. bulbs are APX or Apexcone bulbs.

Im in Florida so you can have search lights for headlights and no one would care. All the kits I had didn't have hi/lo beam and the housings got a little warm and I think started to melt or fade the reflective part in the housing.
