Default HID question

So when i turn on the lights they warm up and get very bright then after 20-30 seconds they dim slightly. Wiring is fine used a relay grounds are good connections are good and both lights do it. Is this normal?

From the way you're describing it it seems normal. My bulbs do that but the difference between the super bright light after warmup and the regular brightness afterwards isn't too too much different. Is yours an immense difference? If so your bulbs may be weak, how long have you had them?
