Default HID question

Installed a HID kit about 2 weeks ago. couple problems when i first turn them on i have to cycle the lights about 10 times until both bulbs light up and once they both are lit after a few minutes one of the bulbs just goes out and i have to cycle the lights again till it comes back on and i have to do this constantly because the one bulb goes out every few minutes. Anyone have any idea what might cause this? do i need a relay kit?

Yes, a relay kit will most likely resolve your issue. With 23,000v & 15+amps when firing up, it's putting too much of a strain on your stock electrical system. It's setting off one of it's safety features & shutting off (or flickering). They're about $20 to $30 on ebay for a 9007 Single Xenon Relay Harness.
