Hey I read in the other thread that this kit will only work with DS2 bulbs. Well I have a phillips Ultinon hid kit with the DS2 bulbs. Will my HID's work with these housings then?
I bet 6000k hid bulbs would look crazy behind some projectors too. People already say mine change colors from blue to purple and what not. I really want a set of these!

gotta wait till night time to take some pix

if you already have an HID kit with D2S bulbs, you CAN use them with these projectors. The bulbs will slide right in

there is pricing on the other page there...... 850 for everything I think.... I just want to know how these projectors stack up besides the Acura projectors. My roommate has a TSX, and wow those are AWESOME lights.... these lights look amazing though. I would love to see a blacked out version installed and then some nighttime shots.... In theory I didn't think I would like these lights... but they just look so clean..... I can't say no......

I had asked in the other thread, but will ask again. Does the pricing include the DEPO headlights? Would it be possible to paint the inside of these lights black since the reflector will not be used?
Thanks
Chris

I do love the Acura bi-xenon headlights, there is no doubt about that. And I know they are huge, I am just hoping someone comes up with a good bezel for them. These lights look awesome cause they are so clean, with the bezel behind them. Slash, yours do look good, the only concern I have is the ABS... I just wish there was some other way to do it, so that it comes out with a more OEM final product. I know you were saying it is impossible to use something like this because of the size of the TL's projector.....

I honestly think that is the first time EVER someone has called me slash lol. for some reason I think of GNR when I hear or see that word lol. The TL's can have a oem shroud from a E55 MB but it will have to be modified to fit because it won't just go on there without modification to it. Thats one reason why it can have a shroud, the downfall is that there is no room to house the TL while also retaining the chrome factory halogen reflector. Believe me, thats the way my retro was first unfolding if you guys recall back when i first started it. Howver after extensive testing, grinding, test fitting, then going back several times, the TL's in the end are just too big for the reflector so out it had to come.

I thought you might like the slash thing. The only this that is a concern to me, is the roughness of it..... it would be nice if it was smooth transitions. I know its tough working with ABS plastic... I have done it, and it is really tough to make it smooth, you really pretty much have to go with a mould to do it nicely..... but that is the only reason that the reflector shroud is nicer... it just has a more OEM look to it. I am not sure if there is another way to go about doing the shroud on the TL Xenon.... cause man are they some sweet headlights for sure.
