What are some HID lighting systems that are designed for the SRT4? And what do they cost?
The nicest i have seen so far are the hella hi/low hids.
Whats the best most cost effective hid light?
Cost effective... Well a kit would be the most cost effective. Kits range in price from 300-500. I have a phillips 9006 kit in my fogs on my truck. I got it for 480.
The best performance would come from a true retrofit with hid projectors. That would range in price from 700-1500.

too bad there are no projectors for our cars yet I have heard good things about www.misterjung.com i think he has a policy that if you buy his kit, you can change the size of your bulbs if needed for a hceap price or something like that. you might want to check into that.

haha I have a misterjung kit 7000k (9007) in my heads. (See sig pic) I would advise not to buy from him and pay the extra cash for a kit with quality phillips bulbs.
I was actually looking to buy a kit from misterjung.com. THey have great prices and have gotten some good reviews from other SRT owners. Why don't you recommend him?

Well misterjung's kits come with generic no-name brand bulbs. Many have reported having issues after the first few months of use. (burn out, color change, flickering) I have his 7000K hit and its "ok" so far (had it for about 5 months) but it does flicker for a while before it turns on, only when it’s cool outside. The second kit I got for my fogs has 6000k phillips bulbs and they have no issues what so ever. Peace of mind for only 80 dollars more.
Want some reviews on misterjung. look here. turbojeff has a misterjung kit and his works fine so far. I wouldn’t say his kits are junk but the quality control seems to be lacking.

I have the 7000K misterjung kit. I've had it since August. I havn't experienced the color change or flickering, although I have heard about it from other people and my friend has a 6000K kit that flickers on startup, but works great. He showed me the flickering, and I said "That's it?". His wasn't an issue at all. Joeys phillips kit sounds pretty solid.

I wish that’s all that my misterjung kit did. It flickers for a good 1-2 minutes before it turns on, only when it's cold outside. I’ve also heard that the stobing/flickering shortens the bulbs life.. I hope that’s not the case. Yeah my Phillips kit of course has none of these problems.
an excellent site to find out a ton about hid's and different systems is www.hidforum.com and for people who want to do a projector retrofit (not with the srt-4 though, it wont work, trust me) go to www.hidtech.com
