I don't have Darksyde HID.. but i hear good things from that kit... i do how ever have the "Xenon Store.com" Xtec 6000k kit... i think that either ones will be a good choice.
Now the color isn't like this... it just happens to be the angle i took the pic at... its more of a greenish/blue...

I have Dark Syde's (Blinglights.com) 8000KVHO kit, its a Bluish Purple, and though it isn't a Bi-xenon kit, for 450 bucks, its absolutely beautiful. I don't even need Hi-beams with it. PM DarkSyde, they'll take care of you

well for 435 you can get the VHO kit from me (brighter than my non vho by about 2x) or for 325 shipped you can get a standard HID upgrade to 6000K or 8000K just pm me and we can discuss things
Nope FYI, only the 03 EVO's came with HID's as standard equipment. For 04-05 They only come as part of the SSL (sun sound leather, HID's) package as a $3500 option.
I wanted my EVO w/o leather and all that, didnt want the extra weight, didnt want sunroof, didnt want the infiniti sound system etc...so i saved myself like $3K
anyhow, I wish Mitsu would have offered those options separately.
For 05 they added more boost 22-23psi vs the 19 psi from the 03-04 models, a bigger factory turbo, and more aggressive ECU tuning, worked out the kinks in the tranny, shifter, and added the ACD system, so we can switch between snow/tarmac/gravel modes, they also added some paint protection for the sides in the rear, took away the intercooler sprayer, and added front and rear LSD's....so i figure, since mitsu put more money into these performance additions, they figured throwing in hid's would make the cars msrp higher...
overall, the 05 EVO's stock put out like 20 more WHP than stock 03-04 models
but anyhow, the clutch still sucks, but I drive my car normally..so the stock clutch should last me a while.
so since my 05 EVO doesnt come with HID's I wanna upgrade...

I remember him saying he bought a RS I believe. They don't come stock w/ HID's.
wassup Hozay?? I was gonna get the RS, but decided I need a bit more luxury i.e. power windows, door locks, CF rear spoiler, so i went with the GSR model. i would have gone with the MR, but it was out of my budget....
I paid $28,800 for my 05 EVO, OTD came to like a shade over $31K
