Did you touch the glass on the bulbs at all during the install?

While touching the glass is never a good thing, it's more of an issue with halogen than with HID capsules. The filaments can't handle the heat from the oils in your skin and will kill a bulb in no time. This can also happen with HID but it's not as common to cause complete failure since there is no filament to burn up.

As to the original poster, McCullough has a bad reputation for short lifespan. At least their older units did I know for a fact. They use Asian knock-off components that aren't engineered as well as some might think.

Sounds like either low beam fuse is blown or your MFS is taking a dump on you. Did you use a harness upgrade or just wire them straight off the stock wiring. Big no no if its straight off the wiring!!!

I had a similar issue when I bought my HID kit a couple years ago. The kit was on for about a week and one morning on my way to work my passenger bulb did not want to turn on. I turned them on and off a few times to see if it might kick it back on but no luck. I thought to myself "thats what I get for paying for a cheap no-name HID kit".

To my surprise the next day the bulb was back on and working fine but did turn off a few times for a short period. I have no idea what the problem could have been since I double checked all the connections. Since then not ONE single problem with the kit and they fire up for me everyday *knocks on wood*.

I've got the 6000K Xtec kit.

I didnt touch the glass at all, I really paid attention at that

And I know the problem is that I didnt bought the kit from hak, I should have, now Im sure that every fucken lightning mod I want to buy, Ill go see hak first

BTW hak, do you sell black projector headlights?? I'll be looking into that in a couple of months ... if yes, whats the price??

Im gonna go and try to turn on the headlights, I'd be surprised if they turn on like EVO77 ones ...

BTW I checked the fuses yesterday and all of them seem alright...

I also wired the HID kit to the stock wires just like they recommend it, is that bad or what??
