HID Fog lights 880 kit - SRT Forums

Hey, i have done some searching and no definite answer found, so the question is, if i get a relay kit for my hid kit for my fogs, will it make them work?

Currently I have 880 fog light kit, and I am in Canada so my fogs are my DRL and i think i read that DRL using so little power that the hid's won't work, and also when i have my llights on and turn on my fogs, only one turns on sometimes and sometimes none turn on. So again will a relay kit help me? thanx in advance and I am no expert in elctronics...lol

a relay kit would make them work if you use you running lights as a 12v source. you won't have drls anymore after that though

so, let me clarify, no one that has fog lights as DRLs ( all canadian srt's ) can have HID fog lights?

from what i'm gathering, yes. you're not the first to complain about hid fogs from canada
