Default HId bulb question. 9007 to H1?

So i have a Bosch 9007 6000k Hid kit and had it just sitting around hoping to do a retro and some day use it. I decided to get a set of the Modern projectors for the 2nd time and was considering a projector swap.

My question is I know the 9007 bulb will not work in the projectors as is, but will that bulb work in a aftermarket projector retrod in?

And..

if I wanted to connect the HID kit I have to the projectors is swapping the bulb to a H1 as easy as that or is a entirely new kit required.

Thanks.

Yes, I did it and it worked fine...I had a 9007 HID kit and bought the projectors and just swapped out bulbs.
