hid bulb changed color

I just recently bought 5000k hid 9007 and had them for a week. I want to know why my one light turns hot pink and the other one is the normal white.

HID lights burn in differently, and usually with aftermarket kits one turns on before the other...thus wearing the color of one first. But if you've only had them a week, chances are that you have two different temperature bulbs, the pink one is the wrong one.

Pull the bulbs out & swap them to the other side to eliminate that it's the ballast doing soemthing wierd. While the bulbs are out, inspect for part numbers different etc...
