I would like to know the same.

If someone can snap a few pics of their locations on their car it would help a ton!

Driver side is "under" the headlight, tie-wraped on frame.

Hope that will help you guys !

That side is crowed for me... CIA and thats where my W/I pump is... but it isn't a very big box...

My only advise for mounting HID box is RUBBER MOUNTS... especially with solid motor mounts. The vibrations destroy these boxes.

Well this might be bad news for me. No BS, VERY VERY solid trani & Motor mounts and an Unsprung 6 puck Vibrations? What Vibrations?

When I first put my solid mounts in...I started it up and everything inside the car was shaking...needless to say...I no longer keep stuff in the cup holders

If you want your ballasts to last I really recomend getting some rubber and remounting! Nothing like having to go back to normal headlights while you wait/pay for new ballasts to come in.

I had HID's in my truck (comp stereo, 151+ DB's) and I went though alot of boxes until I rubber mounted them... My neon don't vibrate near the level of the truck, but I would still do it for longevity.

What do these rubber mounts look like? Are HID ballast's water proof?

I just bought some thick rubber hose and cut it up, then screwed though the rubber.
