Hey Hack, and thankyou for all of the wonderful posts!

I hope not to bother you on this, if it has already been discussed.

I was just wondering if there are any old cars that may be in auto recycle/ junk yards that may have an HID setup to retrofit into our stock headlights? If so, what cars should I keep an eye out for?

THere is a possibility that the junk yards may have a car that has a HID set up in it, most are removed but if you get lucky they may have a set!

I have yet to see hid headlights on a car in the yard. They almost always take them off before they get parked outside. Dont expect any deals either. Junk yards are not stupid. They know what they are worth, and its usually alot higher than ebay.

Sounds good, there are a couple of small town junk yards around here. I called one of them today and he didnt know what I was talking about - lol. Anyways, my question was - What are the cars that I should be looking for that have these HIDs?

From what ive learned, not much, but a acura tsx, or TL will fit nicely and e55's
