Default Help with lights! No lights!

hey there, i installed a plug and play HID kit, well they were working very well, i used them for a few hours durrin the evening, and then all of a sudden they stopped working. The funny thign is my fogs dont work either. I have no clue what could be wrong, the fuses are all fine. Earlier in the day it was weird because my high beams cluster light would not go off no matter what. Anyone have any suggestions? the fogs should be working. Please help me, i need headlights. Thank you

oh ya btw, if it matters my fogs and headlights are rewired.

Number one, I'm guessing no upgraded relay harness to protect your MFS and stock wiring integrity? If so, you could be in for a VERY costly replacement depending on how bad your wiring might of fried, if that's the case.

Number two, I don't suggest doing that fog mod. Sure it works, but there is not telling what will/can happen by switching wires in the event of a short or back feed.

My suggestion is that since you said the fuses aren't blown, that perhaps your MFS just took a shit on you. Your going to now need to trace your wiring all the way from the headlights and turn signals all the way back to the MFS. Your going to need a multimeter or test light to diagnose.

FYI, fog lights are tied into the headlight low beam circuit. Find out why your headlights aren't working and I'm sure it will fix your fog problem.

I highly suggest redoing your fog mod if you want it to be the safest and best way to have seperate fogs. Give my method a shot as it is by far the safest way of doing the mod.

Best of luck,
Hak
