Default help with led wiring!!!

hey i want to put a lil l.e.d so it shines on my cup holders and my change. and since my cd is pretty much glued into my dash. i was wondinging if it would be ok if i just spice into my boost gauge wires. i already have a different gauge. my stock one broke. would this be fine?

That would be fine. LED's don't draw hardley any power.
