go with a set of Retros you will be very pleased even though they are an ass ton of money
id say ebay blacked out stockie headlights( 120$) and the ddm raptor ballast are what i like ( 52$ shipped) and then later on if u get tired of the lights takem apart throw in the g1 or g3 retros (99$) and your good to go or if u got $$$ and like sick quality lights buy from one of the retro guys here and get some really nice retros.
i just ordered the depo projectors from modern to hell with all that retrofitting baking my lights and all that bs...180 for a set with some projectors already in....ive seen them with a 6k hid kit and the light output is better then stock so thats good enough for me....i wouldnt spend 1k on headlights...thats just stupid
i just got my depo headlights in and they look great the difference from 169 to 1000.00 is just not worth my time to be honest.....my gf would have a shit fit if i had car parts in the oven.....
WOAHHHH!!! Slow down there brotha, DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT BUY BLACK HOUSING LIGHTS OFF EBAY!!!!!!!!!!
I brought those, and 1st off they are smaller than my stock headlights so there was a gap big enough for my finger to fit in. 2nd, the gaskets are CHEAP AS HELL!!! They started coming apart during the install and after a month of having my headlights exposed to rain and heat, the gaskets cracked, crumbled and peeled off. 3rd, the light output SUCKS! And I didn't even see a big of a difference with high beams. I'm going to try the depos (non-halo) and see how those are but ask around about those black housing ebay headlights, I'm sure you'll find a lot of people that had the same problems I had.

The price is steep, no doubt.

I had these on my car for about 6-7 months with no issues. Just re-use OEM gaskets and they'll fit just fine. The output was slightly more scattered, but not much.
i just put my depos on everyone was saying theyu fog and need to be sealed but i think depo may have addressed the issue when i took the gasket off i saw gobs of glue coming from the seal there is no way these things are going to leak with the amount of glue used to put them together....no gaps the gaskets also seem improved as they fit better then my stock housing gaskets.....btw if anyone needs some stock headlights i have some they have cracks in the housings but i guess you could use them for a practice pair or maybe just the backs in a retro project.....ill sell em cheap

the amount of glue they use doesn't help cause if you actualy bake them and take them apart you'll see that they miss some important places like by the blinker which even one little pin hole will let in condensation, I have never bought aftermarket headlights that I haver had to reseal, cause let's get real they are cheap for a reason.
