Default Headlight Mod : Anyone tried this???

How about putting a rickblocker covered headlight in the oven to open it up and paint it... how does this affect the rockblocker???

I am only curious because I want to paint the inside of my lights and I was worried that the rock blocker would melt... Also I wanted to know if anyone except haknslash [help with the name - no offense] knew how to install projectors in their light housing... i dont want to take any income from "hak" but I tend to be quite creative and will try anything... I have HID's from darksyde to install with some hella projectors [that hopefully will work]...

Thanks in advance...

As far as i know they stock headlights wont open up by putting them in the oven. I've heard the glue wont melt or something. I know the Depot OEM replacements will work though

I tried the oven trick & it doesn't work.

Yes I know what I am doing as I did this on my WRX & for a few other members that had WRX's.

The glue used to seal our lights is different.
