I think I have a problem with my harness melted, everytime i put my low beams on the fuse blows, ive gone to some dealers and spend hours and hours days and days of the car sittin there and all they tell me is " your harness and switch are fine , I dont know what could be causing this problem" ..... Well obviously , my lights are all stock , ive looked into it and I obviously think some where in the harness something has to be melted , because everytime I have the low beams on and I drive around and hit a bump the fuse blows. When I leave my Hi Beams on its alrite. Ive had this problem for 4 months so im begining to think there is a short somewhere in the harness and no dealer wants to fix my car, i think its because the light harness is connected to the engine harness, and its gonna cost money and time to fix and no mechanic really wants to go through this bs. Im still under warranty and none of these dealers give a crap. What should I do?

Sounds like it has possible melted or is bare somewhere and there is a short on the lowbeam circuit. In order to fix the problem, your going to need to diagnos and trace the circuit back until you find where it has been damaged. The way to do that is to get either a digital multimeter, analog voltmeter, probe or at basic a test light. You will need to follow and inspect each section of the circuit all the way from the headlight plug back to the switch on the steering column. This includes the stock low beam relay(s) and the cars fuse block and rear of it.
What exact kind of lighting have you been runnning that could of caused this? High wattage halogen bulbs, HID or stock halogens? If you ran either the first two w/o a relayed upgraded harness, that will more than likely be the cause of your problem. You simply cannot runs either safely w/o doing a harness. I cannot stress that enough here on these forums! I've been telling and warning people about this since I first joined here.
Call DCX and tell them about this issue. I had the same exact problem (turned out to be the wiring harness at the multifunction switch). My harness was melted and i already had over 36,000 miles. Luckily i went to my Uncle's dealership (he works at Dodge) and found a brand new 22-pin harness laying on his tool box. I replaced the harness (it was a pain in the ass, lots of patience required). Wire by wire placing them on the exact locations on the new harness. Dodge doesn't sell this part alone which requires a whole wiring harness to be installed (over $500 here). But it doesn't matter, your car is under warranty!!! tell those assholes to fix your car or lemon that shit!!! they have to fix it no matter what...
