Default Headlight Alignment Question.

This is the dumbest question I've ever asked but I don't care. Before I go through another set of Headlights; which way do you turn the adjuster screw to aim the lights down. I don't want to go cranking down on the screw and POP! Yes, it already happened, wasn't me but still. These are black housing headlights not stockers.

Looking down on the top of the headlight:

Turn Clockwise to raise and Counter-Clockwise to lower.
