Default Headlight adjustment with the 250$$ projectors

Really quick, these seem to come adjusted really low for those who dont know the outside Phillips adj. screw is for vertical and the inside is for Horz. I havent done the high beams yet but I will let you know ( if I need to adjust them) Mr. Modern did a great job with the instructions but add this to them when aiming these puppies.

My bad I ment after you remove the headlight (as it sits there dangling from the wires if your look in the back there is a screw closest to the engine and one closets to the fender the one closest to the fender adjusts the projector up and down. Or as you are facing the engine it would be the left Phillips on the passenger side and the far right phillips on the drivers side. Hope I didnt confuse the shit out of you.

So you think these work better than the stock crap ? Thats good to hear . On a scale of one to ten (one being turned off , ten being twice as effective as stock) , how would you rate them ?
If I can get something that actually performs better than stock , Ill deal with the rice sprinkles .

As far as driving around the local town and on Base they seem to work a lot better than my stock lights ( if your lights were not aimed right the base cops will mess with you...trust me I know) before they were aimed even while I could not see anything they were pointed too low but now they give off good light but before I pass judgment lemmi do some highway driving tonite will chime in tomorrow.. but so far I give it a good 7 to 8.

Ah, your the first (And so far only) person to post that the installation instructions helped you with this, or that you appreciate the installation instructions! It took me a long time to write them up, and it really makes me happy that you appreciated my work !

Thank you for also posting feedback on the adjustment. Im going to link this thread to the thread in the modern section.

Thanks, Cory

Ok just got off the road I dont do much night driving but these are MUCH better than the silverstar/stock setup you can actually see the beam focus way down the road ( mind you I was driving through a corn field) but with the addition of the silverstar/driving lights it seems to be a all around good package for what I was willing to pay...oh yeah I didnt wire up the leds' but I did do the halos =}

Ok just went cruzin with the lights after adjusting them for hopefully the last time I was not sure how high to aim these things but the video helped anyway after finding a dark road and freaking out some farmer, I finally got a good look at what people see when I am zoomin down the road. The light output is good better than stock ( I like the color shift at different angels) and with the silver star fogs its much better so I went looking for some h1 silver stars found some haven't purchased them yet tho. I went to ebay and was lookin at some h1's on there then I found some Piaas daymn kinda pricey so I will weigh my options. Just thought I would share and oh yeah make the passenger a little higher so you can see the signs....

If you want the Halos and LED's to work you have to wire them up but other than that, they are plug and play.
