Default Headlamp Question

Need help find the Headlamp wire I need to wire my gauges to so this way the color part turns on when the headlamps are on. Please give me some advice lol.

You shouldnt do that, you should wire it to accessories. Look in your fuse box and tap into the accessories line. Theres a how-to on here that i made a while ago for apexi turbo timers how-to remove the fuse box.

Cant find that how to I see one for a apexi turbo timer that it. Right now I have the main 12v source going to the cigg lighter. So this way the car is on so are the gauges. But I only want the color on when the cars headlamps are turned on.

In my 2002 Neon, It was a yellow/black wire that went into the multifunction (headlight) switch in the steering column. You have to take the column cover off, tap into that wire and it works perfect.
