Default having trouble with hid in headlights and fogs

i finally put hid in my fog lights yesterday but one side keeps on going out whenever i hook up the other side. it's as if i can't have them both on together. they are 35watt 6000 k. is there something i should put in? i'm assuming its drawing too much energy. any input? thanks

Aw you're no fun.

The solution: Make your own relay harness.

You don't want to run your kit off the stock wiring/MFS. Search "Fire in dash" and you'll see what I mean. Search any of these related wiring threads in this lighting section and probably 80% of them are mentioned by me to tell people to use a relay and wired correctly. Typically most of these issues people experience is from not using a relay or not having it wired correctly (which includes using a relay).

I have explained as well as others on here how to make your own harness. you can also check out HiDPlanet.com :: Index and see the University section for a very detailed and professional way to make your own.

i just ordered a set of 4300 fogs and 6000k head lights from vvmw.com They came with relays and i know everyone says use them. If the whole point of a relay to not burn the stock wiring harness?

also do u know the number for the fog lights? i know the headlights are 9007 but what are the fogs?

There is a sticky that has all the bulb part numbers.... light bulb part numbers thread

Yes you need a relay harness unless you like fixing shit later on. Also some of those relay harnesses that come with those kits do not wire up the relay correctly. Understand a relay and how it works. Make sure you have it wired correctly so its actually doing something.
