ok so we finally got around to actually installing the retro's.. (they look good though)..
however I am still sorta puzzled by what the power/ground wire comming out of the bottom of the housing is for.. (I was pretty tired when we installed them so forgive my stupidity).
also after washing the car today to get ready for a photoshoot with some local sponsors..we noticed the driver side headlight has a HUGE amount of condinsation build up (ill take pix in the AM as its 1203 and I dont think my neighbors would like me starting the car up to drive to a better area to take pix).
any way to fix the condinsation with out having to rebake the housing and reseal? do you offer a fix for this..
Ryan, send them back to me and I'll fix the leak on the drivers one and look over the passenger side while i'm at it. I will not need to rebake anything and should be a simple fix . I am going to the nats next week so if you send them now, I won't be able to fix them until I get back. Just a heads up
The two wires are for your bi-xenon feature. This is your "high beam". Hook your positive wire to your red high beam wire in the stock headlight plug. You'll need to tap into it for this. The other wire is your ground and just make a nice clean chassis ground for it.
Do as I suggested in the PM. If your still having issues, which you shouldn't, then don't hesitate to send them my way and i'll take care of it for you. Typically I don't have many issues at all with condensation on retros but the tails were a whole other ball game. But regardless, anytime you do lighting mods there is always those one or two times where something does happen. Thankfully this is a easy and inexpensive fix so you should be good to go with little effort!

He was . I was just stating the typically there aren't mositure issues related with the retros I do. That most of my condensation issues have been from the tails that I used to do before I sealed them differently. In other words, you'll probably not have a issue with your retro on condensation as it normally doesn't hapen but there are a few times that it can happen. It's a easy fix if that is ever the case.
I actually got water in my Tails...found where the seal was seperated from the housing. I just removed the clear glue that was in there and resealed it with some EPDM sealant.
Hak, if you've never seen this stuff, check it out NOTHING seals like this stuff does

Hey Hak I have one of your earlier retros, and still getting to prob with condensation, mind PM'ing me the tip. I pulled the left one apart and attempted to reseal, still getting some of it. I don't know if it has to do with the way the projector is screwed in from the back or what. Thanks for the help again.
I have my pics of mine from last night, will resize and get them posted.

Yeah, with the earlier retros water tended to find its way in from the bolts. I told you to send them to me and I'd get them sealed for you.....
When I get back from the nats, send them my way and I'll do a whole new sealing job for you.
If you don't want to send it to me, just maybe try the hotglue or try what Essartee suggested and that should take care of it.

I don't know if that's what he used. I'm only suggesting it because he said he got great results. I haven't had any issues with just the hot glue and nissan sealant on my own stuff.
Yes but you'll need to remove your diode because your stock halogens would end up blowing the high beam fuse after a little bit because both filamernts in the bulb would be running and it's not designed to do that.
Pack them up and send them to me when I get back from the nats. I'll seal them up and test them to ensure no leaks before sending them back
ok hak tried to find the non sealed area with no luck. my headlights look like fish bowls lol ill be packing and sending back after nats (i just hope my 600 dollar HID kit can last that long with limited use)
