They are Bosch E46 Bi-xenons's

Not the best pic of just ONE installed in a Z06 but oh well.

As fas if they are better than TSX's that's all relative to what your looking for out of the projector.

TSX = sharper
TSX = single xenon
TSX = good light dispersement, just not as intense as I like

Bosch E46 Bi = not as sharp
Bosch E46 Bi = bi-xenon *BIG PLUS
Bosch E46 = great intense light dispersement

Both have great colorbands stock and modded.

Is there a better lense I can put on them, like my TSX lenses for a sharper cutoff? Also, are they easily retrofitted into the Neon's housing? I also looked inside the projector, and it doesn't appear to be a bi-xenon, it looks like it has a really simple sheild in there with no alternate sheild......can you explain how the bi-xenon operates in this setup. Thanks.

these are the actual ones I have......I have a hard time beleiving that they are bi-xenon based on what the sheild loks like, it doesn't appear to move or anything. Could they be single xenon, and if so, is there a reason for me to put these in over my TSX's? Thanks

Those pics are way too small for me to tell anything. Typically that comes with either Bosch E46 (hence the bmw model ) Bi-xenons or if your llucky and get a 330ix BMW you will ge tthe ultra clear ZKW E46 bi-xenons.

The only split line lensed Bosch's are the ECE Bosch E46 singles. Did you buy them from overseas or here?

This is the Bosch e46 bi-xenon. Notice it has the same split lens as you do. The bad thing about retroing this bi-xenon into a neon would be the solenoid sticking out so far back. You would need to trim the housing in order for it to fit probably much like I have to do on Hella RS6 bi-xenon retros, which I hate doing BTW .

Bosch bi xenon e46:

This is a single xenon Bosch

OK I have confirmation they were from a 2002 330 awd 4 door model, I don't know the designation (xi,ci,ti, etc.,). here are better pictures. They do not have the line across them like the other does. Hope this helps.

First pic you posted showed the line

Your actual pics show the DOT single Bosch E46 and Bosch Litronic ballast

Output pics from the Bosch Single E46 projector. IMO, the deliver a more central instense beam than the TSX but they aren't as wide. So its a call between if you want a stronger birghter central portion or do you like width and sharpness over anything else....

In your personal opinion, which would you rather have, TSX's, or the E46 singles?

The first pic I showed you was just for reference, the actual pics are mine.

I just really want to know if you would rather have the Bimmer ones, or the TSX ones. I will mod either one. Also, Will my TSX lense fit on my BMW projectors, if not, what lense will that would increase sharpness.

I really prefer the ECE cutoff to the DOT one that my TSX's have.

Also, are the ballasts that come with these headlights better than my Philips Gen3's?

Hmm, I've had TSX's and they were ok. The novelty of them wore off rather quickly but I did ride around with them for a while. I just got tired of having nice width but lacked intensity.

So now I'd rather say I'd probably use the E46's due to them performing a little brighter but they don't perform as wide as a TSX. So its a toss up in what YOU are looking for out of lighting.

How do you bend the shield? Do you just bend it alittle towards the lense, or towards the bulb?
