has anyone experienced them melting the bumper or catching on fire? i saw a couple sti's that this happend too but i just want to make sure before i buy them.
thanks guys
p.s please post pics of your set up
It was probably the harness that caught fire due to them not running a relay harness. HIDs run cooler than factory halogen headlight bulbs...there's no reason they would catch fire randomly. However my friend who ran some aftermarkets in his 02 rex had his harnesses catch on fire because he was drawing too much power from them (i.e. no relay harness). I've had HID fogs for almost three years now...with a relay harness and no issues.
anybody have anymore pics of stock fogs with hids? im trying to decide if i should just put hids in my fogs or actually retrofit them with projectors lol
