I came across an ad on here for dashzracing.com there 03-05 srt halo led projector headlights-black and they have a 35w 12000k H.I.D upgrade kit and i was wondering is that to bright for the street, and also had anyone else bought these from them?
12000 is not bright at all. k means the temp of the color out put. 12000 is purple 10000 is pink 8000 blue lower the number the higher light output 2000 is the yellow hids the race cars use. most people here rock 6000 white to 8000 bluish white
buy the 12000k and usem for show..... cause you wont see shit at night but maybe no you wont even see a deer run in front of your car all ull see is a purple sphere reflecting back when the deer is 2 feet from your headlight thats about it
12000s you'll see nothing but pretty pink and purple cars. They look dumb as hell and serve no usable lighting purpose. Your best bet is 4300k-5000k 6000k at most. Even 8ks are too blue for usable light.
i got 5000k Apexcone bulbs and theyre bright my lights are pointed down and black housing and i get flashed by ppl even when im driving on level ground
And they blind all oncoming traffic. 12000K HID = 100% pure Uncle Ben.
They dont blind anybody , and they look more blue then purple, and for the Uncle Ben, everyone and their momma has 8k to 5ks here, I wantted my car to look a little diffrent .
