Default Grip hood mod, first one?

ok so ive had this done for a while just was lazy to post it up lol..... my grip hood is now lit up from underneath by 120 white surface mount LEDs. Lights up all of the powder coat nicely... white acr with the hood done semi-gloss black.



also this is with my garage light on, the hood leds are fking bright

ya man like i said in the OP, 120 surface mount ones......... its 8 ft of leds wrapped around the skeleton of the hood, so even with it open, it shines down into the bay

ya the lights are only for show, but youwouldnt believe how cool the engine bay stays with this hood, its also lighter than any cf hood ive ever seen but u sacrifice structural integrity

Do you have a problem with water on the motor? Just wondering how it does in the rain/snow etc.

once again, no rain does not hurt it, it barely gets anymore wet that it does with a stock hood..... read the other posts man, no offense.... and this comes off in the winter because if snow piles up on it, itll bend the hood if it gets heavy enough(in illinois it does snow enough to do this lol)
