Can a 3157 bulb be interchanged for the 4157's our cars take? They look identical to me. I found some 3157 LED bulbs in red that would look cool on my ride (although illegal), if they will work. Thanks.
That it what I use too, just make sure they are in the right way cause if not they won't work. Well the LED type don't if you plug them in wrong, the LED's will only light up if plugged in a certain way. not sure why but I had to take one of mine out to turn it around. Also red LED's in the front will get you a ticket in about 30 seconds flat.
Thanks for the help, guys. Yeah, I know they are illegal and all. I have red side markers, and no front plate either. So far, so good. It's not my daily driver, as you may have guessed.
