You need 893's or 899's.

Our fog lights bulbs are 893/894, that is the only bulbs that will work with our cars.

Yea!
The owner's manual (foglight bulbs) is based on the '01 and '02 second Gens. Don't read that part!

Dammit, why do maufacturers do that? I had that happen to my on my 92 Oldsmobile. It seems like they should have some way of making sure the manual is correct. Even more so, a lot of parts of our manual are SRT-4 specific. You know they had to do extra work to write it, yet they copied and pasted the headlight section? What the heck?

I know, this isn't even my problem, but I know how it feels. It's embarassing, too, having to go back and explain to the clerk at the store that you bought the wrong lights for your car, even though it's what the manual said. (In my case it was even worse, because the store computer had listed the correct number, and I told the guy he must be wrong.)

If I remember right the 893/894 is a stock replacement bulb which is 35w. The 899 is a 55w bulb that fits in the stock location with no modification. I have been running the 55w bulbs for 6 months with no problem and at night I always have my fogs on.

893 & 899 are both rated at 37.5 watts.

Ok I found the package my 55w bulbs came in. They are Sylvania 885. These are identical to the stock 37.5w bulbs but they are 55w.
