yea im either gonna do that or just use some bondo or something and fill in some stock surrounds, then maybe add a design to the middle and paint um. 109$ for 2 small pieces of carbon fiber is rediculous. I was looking for a direct replacement also not something that just tapes on.
Please don't use bondo. The amount of bondo needed to fill the void would crumble or crack the second you hit a pot hole.
Use ABS. Make a template from the exisiting fog light black surround piece. Just don't cut the center out. Walla, takes maybe 5 minutes to make and under $5. It will last longer than bondo will too
is abs just like flexible plastic that you mold? all i know of is abs pipe so im assuming its the same material. and where would I find it? Since it so nice out maybe I can do this tomorrow
Found out what it is, I work at lowe's and we don't carry that so not sure where to get that stuff besides online.

Why do you want to get rid of them? If anything, you could use the holes and make a brake/tire cooling duct.
The brake/tire cooling duct idea really only applies to track cars as that is the only time your going to superheat brakes/tires anyways.
I'm guessing he wants to remove them because he likes the look without them but doesn't want holes or duct work piping being shown. Best guess.
I would love to have some color matched ones but at a reasonable price that fit in OEM. I really never use my foglights and would rather not have them there..
Well i made a mistake of buying the crappy darksyde hid fog light things, what a waste of money might I add. and they look like crap. And don't wanna go through the trouble of rewiring the harness for the stockers. And yea I want something like the sti has. and maybe put a dodge ram stencil or something on them when I paint them.
