Exclamation Fog Light Bulb #

Ok, i am going to order a hid set for my fogs i just wanna know the exact bulb size. My friend tell me some other # than the forums say and some people say any 8 series bulb will work. Anyone got a quick answer? Thanks in advance.

It's technically an 899. It does make a difference for halogen bulbs as 893, 899, 880, 890 etc. are different wattages. It doesn't really matter for HID's. FYI, any 88X or 89X bulb will fit the housing.

does anyone else have an owners manual that recommends a 9145/h10 bulb for the fog lamps? mine did for some reason, but my car clearly takes a 893/899 bulb. misleading information ftl!
