Default Fix leaking taillights

OK, I bought some black housing RX300's off Ebay. I now know I should have gotten them From Modern because the drivers side filled with water during the first week I had them on. I used to have the carbon fiber ones from MPx but I sold them a while ago and I wanted black ones this time. I figured I'd save myself the $60+ dollars and get the ones from Ebay, but I guess it wasn't worth it. So anyway........... how do I go about getting the water out and then re-sealling them? I think there was a problem with these from the beginning because on this one they had some scotch tape over the connecting tabs and the passenger side did not. I still have a small puddle of water in it and I have been shaking it all over and can't seem to get the water out, so I don't even know where it got in there or how I can get it out and stop it from coming back. Any advice would help. I'll try to get some pics up soon.

I've never had to, but i would guess take them off the car and let them sit for awhile to dry out. Then once they are dry, take some silicone and seal all of edges where water might get in.

Yeah thats my current plan of action. I've had them off the car for about a week now. Most of the water is gone, just a little bit left now. Then I'll seal them up.............just wanted to know if there was a faster/better way to do this since it's already taken a long time.

To get rid of the water faster try using a hair dryer to make the tail light warmer and speed up the evaporation process. Just a thought.
