I bought a set of black LED taillights a lil over 2 years ago. A few days ago, half a row of LEDs on one of my tails went out! I thought LEDs were supposed to last WAYYY longer! Anyway, is there a way to fix them? Or do I have to buy a whole new set?
I had/have the same problem, ~1/2 of the LED's in the passenger side light quit working. A guy in Corpus Christi had the same issue, there was a bit of discussion & I tried contacting DEPO but didn't get anything back from them.
Weird....mine are out in the SAME place. The bottom 4 on the outside row on the passenger side....
I still have my stockers so I guess I will try and pull them apart and see if there is a wiring issue. If I can'f fix them.....guess I will be buying another set
Liker I said, I have some extras and will sell them. Far cheaper than buying a whole new sets of tails. As long as you're fine with opening your tails (I made a sticky for this) then you will be fine swapping them out. I think I have maybe two pairs of these leftover both for the left and right tails. Lert me know if you need a set or one.
Valerie, I will check and see what I have left in the garage shop. I'll let you know.
Lauren, I will double check which sides I have but I'm almost positive I have two full pairs meaing two drivers and two passenger LED pieces. I'll look tonight and let you know and the shippin costs. I'm not looking to make any money on them as they are of no use to me since I don't have a Neon anymore so shipping is basically what you'll be paying.
It is this piece minus the plastic LED housing. Basically the LED board with the LEDs on it...

Damn.. sorry to hear that Lauren.. I believe we sold you the lights correct? If you have any major issues let me know & I"ll do my best to get in contact with the manufacturer that distributed them & see what they have to say about this.
Yup, got them from you guys about 2 years ago. I really like them and it sucks they went out already! If you get a chance to talk to the manufacturer about them, let me know what the deal is.
