Nope, didn't notice anything.

They really don't block any of the bulb or reflector section

I noticed less light output with the black housings as opposed to eyelids.

I got CF off packerfan for 80 shipped...AWESOME, but any "real" eyelid is good, just make sure you take a hairdryer or heatgun and make the stickey tape is good and skirty!!

If you get them new they should come with the tape on the eyelid and all you have to do is make sure the side that is going to stick to the headlight, is stickey when you put it on your headlight, put pressure on them as you stick them on so the tape stick's good to your lens!

id suggest buying more scotch double sided tape and add more since out of the box it seems like it isnt enough.

after a while the orginal double sided tape starts weaken and get lose and makes it easier to steal. make sure you get scotch, stuffs strong and will hold just about anything together. i put a lot and its held for over a 1 1/2 years and still no problems while when i first got the eyelids it started to weaken after a couple months.

bmws for example have eyelids that bolt inside the car so its almost impossible to steal, you might as well make it seem like our cars are in the same boat.
