Just curious of the eye lids will hinder the output of the headlights beam on the road. I live in an area where the only light you get on the road at night comes from your headlights as there are no street lights at all.

They don't really alter perfomance but I have seen them seem to cause the "crazing" issue. My guess is that either the vinyl or plastic doesn't allow the clear lens surface to cool down enough, therefore ends up giving some headlights small minut cracks called "crazing".

well that sucks, because i have the vinyl ones, though i haven't notticed anything yet ......... um then maby i should take a closer look.
I hated my eyelids... basically they cut the high beam in half.... they look dope, but I prefer to see. The guys who say there is no difference are smoking crack... I get them for free & I've taken em off twice now due to the shitty light output..
