I have the same exact problem! My friend works at a performance shop and he's the one who got me the HID's. I went back to him with this issue, as I was telling him about it. 3 other people chimed in saying they have the same issue with theirs. The owner of the shop has the same issue as well in his Tahoe, and claims you will always get this problem with aftermarket high power HID's. I dunno, I just learned to live with it. There's gotta be some fix.

Then the owner of that shop is a fucking moron because you DONT have to deal with it
I have 2 sets of hid's in my car one for the headlights and one for the fogs and I dont have ANY interference
you should check your installation and make sure you are using a relay for all of the wiring

What do you mean a relay? I hooked them up as they are. They are plug and play?

What does it sound like I mean
I mean are they wired up with a RELAY
as in are you using a relay for the power wire of the ballast
I dont care if its plug and play or not it should still have a relay on the power wire to isolate any feedback through the stock wiring and to take some load off of the flimsy ass factory wires

it just has a fuse in the power wire. the power wire connects to the extra post in the fuse box.

wow, most ballasts pull 6 amps @ power-up and 3 amps at full fire,. alot of load on the stock wiring without a relay. alot more then originally designed anyways..

Dude I have already told you what the problem is YOU NEED TO WIRE IN A RELAY IN ORDER TO STOP THE INTERFERENCE
You need to do that in order to fully isolate the HID wiring from the stock wiring in order to prevent electrical back feed and interference
you also NEED to wire in the relay in order to take the electrical load OFF OF your stock wiring or your gonna be posting a thread in a few weeks to the tune of
MY CAR CAUGHT FIRE AND ISURANCE COMPANY WONT COVER IT WHAT DO I DO?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
