Beginning of my fog retro

Theres no glare, output is awesome, and for a $15 projector how can you beat it? I will take some better pics in the next few days. Ive been too busy to take any output pics. The output pic in that link doesnt look like much, but my garage door is tan color, and you have to picture the stock headlights with silverstars in them and you will get an idea. The projectors I used are discontinued. Search "halogen projector" on ebay and a set might pop up every so often. They go for about $40 on ebay. The projectors were originally made for a c5 vette.

What HID kit is required for these projectors ?

I tapped into the power wire for the sidemarkers. I was going to run them on their own switch but decided against all of the extra wiring for now. At a later date when I have more things to put on switches, I'll run one, but I didn't want to at this point in the game.

THey are on ebay only place you can get them so you dont need a number and the hid kit you should use the 3000k to be on the safe side thats what crystal is using and Im going to use eventually.

How does 3000k make them any safer than normal? Kelvin refers to color.

The bulb for this fog light is 894, same as the factory fog light bulb. If you want hid, then use an 880 kit. That will fit as well.

Casue the higher you go in hids like 6to 8000ks are more for your battery to handle all Im saying and maybe could melt your lenses and have happend to some srt4 guys I know. So for me Im stickin with 3000ks in yellow or superwhite. But in the mean time Im getting some h1s in superwhite that came from modern for my halo headlights and probably use the same for my foglights. h1s is what Im using now in my halo foglights thats what I think they came with not h3s.

The surface of the sun is almost 6000K, so I think half of that (3000K) should be more than safe for fogs

The Ebay Projectors do not use the same bulb as the factory fog lights. So if JuanchoSRT was referring to the Ebay ones, its either an H1 or an H3 not an 880/894. But the foglights come with bulbs in them already and a connector to mate to your factory harness (which I wouldn't recommend without a relay harness as the bulbs it comes with are a higher wattage than stock).
